The apartment is situated in Altinkum in an area known hunters valley. It is approx a 2 minute walk from the second beach and a 5 minute walk from the main beach. The apartment is placed at the front of hunter’s valley with scenic views from both balconies and is not over looked by other apartments. It has a number of small shops with a minutes’ walk to purchase any household essentials..
The apartment is situated in Altinkum in an area known hunters valley. It is approx a 2 minute walk from the second beach and a 5 minute walk from the main beach. The apartment is placed at the front of hunter’s valley with scenic views from both balconies and is not over looked by other apartments. It has a number of small shops with a minutes’ walk to purchase any household essentials.
The second beach consists of golden sands with sun bed and umbrella hire, with the opportunity to take part in water sports such as pedlos, banana boat, rings etc. There is also a small promenade with a number of shops such as newsagents and little shops selling all the essentials needed to spend the day on the beach. There are a number of beach front hotels and restaurants where you can get a nice lunch or just a cold drink all of which are reasonably priced and some of which also offer a beach service.
The beach is generally very tidy with bins supply on the beach which are emptied on a daily basis. The main beach consists of a long stretch of golden sand with breath taking views over the sea. This also has sun bed and umbrella hire throughout the beach it is also very clean and has a number of bins that are emptied daily. Like the second beach there is a promenade with a large number of shops these include newsagents and beach essentials, a number of jewellers and other souvenir shops. You can also sign up for any trips that you want to experience with sales reps along the promenade.
Why Golden Sand is Altinkum
The primary draw of this resort town is its three long sandy beaches. In fact, the place Altinkum gets its name from these beaches since Altinkum in Turkish means ‘golden sands’. The beaches at Altinkum stretch a long way, right from the little harbour at one end to the rocky cliff at the other end and also has another two..
There is a wide choice of restaurants overlooking the sea and little ice cream stands. They also have some bars on the seafront with nice relaxing cushions to lazy the day away whilst having a few drinks. During the evening the apartment is close enough to take a small walk to all restaurants, bars, night clubs but also far enough away not to have the nightlife and loud music on your doorstep.
Taking a slow walk along the main promenade could take approx 5 to 10 minutes where you can ever sit out and enjoy a nice quite meal taking in the stunning scenery or head out for a night in the bars and clubs there are many bars from karaoke bars, British pub, Irish bars to more traditional bar with traditional Turkish music. There is also a number of night clubs including a very popular open air night club called medusa, all of which you can dance the night away in to the early hours of the following day.
You will also find that a number of the restaurants and bars will have evening/weekly entertainment which usually including dance shows, belly dancing, break dancing shows, Turkish dancing and Turkish evenings with set menus, beware they will have everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves by the end of the night. There are many trips available from Altinkum which can be booked up with sale reps they include the temple of Apollo, Ephesus, Pamukkale and day trips to other areas of Turkey or even Greek islands. There are also other activities such a boat trips around the local beaches.
